Meeting our clients' needs safely is always our highest priority. Within the comfortable environment of our facility, Boston Skin Essentials caters to our patients' unique requirements for safety and desire for privacy. Directed by Dr. Edwin Ishoo, with the assistance of our skilled support staff, we are committed to providing excellence in office-based skin care treatments for a broad range of needs. Dr. Ishoo is a board certified surgeon with a background in cosmetic facial surgery and body contouring. He brings this background and experience to skin care patients in an effort to go beyond traditional spa-level skin care. Dr. Ishoo has been practicing for over ten years and has performed thousands of skin care, acne, skin resurfacing, and cosmetic procedures. Under Dr. Ishoo's careful guidance our facilities were carefully designed and now house trained and exceptional staff who knows the vital importance of client care, professionalism, skill, and meticulous attention to detail.

We have offices in Brookline, Massachusetts and Marshfield, Massachusetts. Our Brookline location is tailored to skin care treatments, and our Marsfield office is focused on cosmetic surgery procedures. These locations are tailored to our specific needs and offer clients a high level of safety, specialized support, high-technology treatments, and the best in cosmetic care.

Joint Commission Accreditation

At Boston Skin Essentials, we believe that you deserve the highest quality of healthcare possible. That is why we are accredited with the Joint Commission. The Joint Commission is the nation's leading evaluator of patient safety and health care quality in hospitals and office-based surgical facilities. To become awarded the Gold Seal of Approval by the Joint Commission, we underwent a thorough on-site evaluation against nearly 150 standards that promote patient quality of care and safety. This evaluation is a recurring process consisting of peer review to assure that we continually meet their standards. Accreditation is a team effort; every staff member participates in the process.

We do not have to be accredited. Many healthcare organizations are not. The decision to participate in this voluntary process was made because we are committed to provide our patients with the highest quality of care in a safe office environment. Being accredited challenges us to find better ways to serve our patients and it serves as a constant reminder to us that our first responsibility is to see that you get the best care possible. When you see our certificate of accreditation, you know it means that Boston Skin Essentials cares enough about you to strive for the highest care possible.

Our staff is courteous, accommodating and professional. We are open seven days a week by appointment. We encourage you to call or e-mail the facility with any questions or concerns at any time. We offer two convenient locations in Brookline, Massachusetts and Marshfield, Massachusetts, to best serve our clients in the Greater Boston and South Shore areas.
